Come and meet Barry Fitzgerald, a superhero scientist, keynote speaker, author, and enthusiastic communicator who will give his ‘Secrets of Superhero Science’ talk on Tuesday 19th November at 7pm, prior to a screening of the 2012 Avengers movie. Superheroes in the Marvel and DC films are capable of extraordinary superhuman feats. Supergirl can effortlessly lift cars, trains and aeroplanes; Tony Stark can fly around New York City in an Iron Man suit; Spider-Man can climb walls; and Captain Marvel can fire energy blasts from her arms. But how likely is it that we’ll be able to replicate these superpowers in the future?
Talk followed by a screening of the 2012 Avenger’s move ‘Marvel Avengers Assembly’
Audience: Adults, Children, Families, General Public
