    2nd Friday 13 May: the Secrets of Superhero Science

    Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have superpower? Have you ever wanted to be a superhero? Have you ever dreamed of having Sue Storm’s power of invisibility, one of Iron Man’s amazing flying suits or the ability to produce spider silk just like Spider Man?

    The answer to these and many other questions can be found in the new book ‘’Secrets of Superhero Science’’. The authors Barry Fitzgerald will take us on a journey through some of these incredible powers and abilities, the stories that have created some of the biggest superhero icons and the real science that could in the future lead to the emergence of superpowers in the real world. He will also talk about how these powers could be safely integrated into modern society and how we might control their use in the future. 

    2nd Friday is a free monthly networking drink, organized by KIVI, for young professionals with interests in technology and innovation.
